Dina Kraft, co-author of My Friend Anne Frank, recounts her experience working with Hannah Pick-Goslar to explore and rediscover the events of the Holocaust through the eyes of a young girl.

In this long‑awaited memoir, Pick-Goslar shares the story of her childhood during the Holocaust, from the introduction of anti-Jewish laws in Amsterdam to the gradual disappearance of classmates and, eventually, the Frank family, and finally to Hannah and her family's imprisonment in the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp.

Dina Kraft is a writer and journalist based in Tel Aviv. She is the Opinion Editor for Haaretz English. She has written from the region for over two decades for The New York Times, The Christian Science Monitor and The Los Angeles Times, reporting on Israeli and Palestinian politics, culture and society.
